Pea and Potato Curry


  • 3 tsp mustard seeds
  • Oil, a good glug
  • Large tin of potatoes, drained and cubed
  • Tin of peas, drained, or 200g frozen peas
  • Tin of chopped tomatoes
  • Dried chilli flakes
  • 1 tsp dried garlic powder, or 2 tsp garlic puree, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
Mustard seeds are missing from the pic!


  • Fry the mustard seeds in oil until they start to pop
  • Add all the other ingredients
  • Bring to the boil then simmer to bring out the flavours.
